Patna High Court Assistant Selection Process Stages

• The selection process for the recruitment will be conducted in multiple stages. Candidates must qualify each stage to proceed to the next phase of the selection process.

  • Stage 1: Preliminary / Screening Test – If the number of applications is high, a Preliminary Screening Test (MCQ-based) will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the next stage.
  • Stage 2: Written Examination – Shortlisted candidates will appear for a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)-based Written Test to assess their subject knowledge and aptitude.
  • Stage 3: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) – Candidates who qualify the written examination will be required to demonstrate their practical computer skills through a Computer Proficiency Test.
  • Stage 4: Personal Interview – Candidates clearing the CPT will be called for a Personal Interview to evaluate their communication skills, technical knowledge, and overall suitability for the post.
  • Stage 5: Document Verification & Medical Examination – Finally, shortlisted candidates must undergo Document Verification to confirm their eligibility, followed by a Medical Examination to ensure they meet the prescribed fitness standards. Successful candidates will be considered for the final merit list and appointment
