  Candidates shortlisted for these posts will have to appear for the prescribed Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) as part of the SSB Non-GD recruitment selection process.

SSB Selection Process Stages

• The selection process for various SSB Constable, Head Constable, ASI and SI Non-GD posts will be conducted in the following stages:

  Stage 1: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)

  Candidates must qualify the prescribed PET and PST requirements to proceed to the next stage.

  Stage 2: Written Examination

  Candidates who qualify the physical tests will appear for the written examination as per the prescribed syllabus and exam pattern.

  Stage 3: Document Verification (DV)

  Shortlisted candidates will be required to present their original educational, identity, category and other relevant documents for verification.

  Stage 4: Medical Examination

  Candidates clearing the previous stages will undergo Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Candidates declared medically unfit may be given an opportunity for Review Medical Examination (RME) as per the applicable rules.

  Selection Flow:
  PET/PST → Written Examination → Document Verification → DME/RME → Final Selection

How to Check SSB PET PST Schedule & Download Admit Card

• Candidates can download the SSB PET/PST Admit Card 2026 by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official SSB Recruitment Portal.
  2. Click on the “SSB PET/PST 2026 Notice / Admit Card” link.
  3. Enter your Registration ID, Password/Date of Birth, and Captcha Code.
  4. Your PET/PST exam date, reporting time, examination centre, and venue details will appear on the screen.
  5. Check all the details carefully and download the SSB PET/PST Admit Card 2026.
  6. Take a clear printout of the admit card and carry it along with a valid original photo ID proof and other required documents on the date of the physical test.

  Important: Candidates should carefully follow all instructions mentioned on the admit card and report to the allotted PET/PST venue within the prescribed reporting time.
